I prefer to look at the bigger picture. If we want to really point blame, then lets blame Fabien Letouzey for making fruit 2.1 open source. As prior to that the major players of super strength were Shredder, Junior, Hiarcs, Fritz, and Zappa. Yes many others existed, but you get my point. Without Fruit 2.1 Rybka, and a many others would still be chasing 1/2 points of Shredder and the others. Rybka took ideas from Fruit......so did many others. The appearance of all these new super engines is directly and inversely related to FRUIT 2.1. open source.

I do not agree with cloning, but proof whould be nice. Rybka took ALOT from fruit, no one cried clone back then. And we had proof....

Yes, I understand that problem. I was hoping Vas would make a clear enough statement with some explanation, but I also understand why he eventually didn't do that.

Explaining why Ippolit is a clone means explaining what makes Rybka unique.
