An intermediate list would be fine regards,

You need some clarification so go and ask him. Do what any sane person would do and go ask.

Who are those certain people you speak of that are "well informed"? Are they the people who could be bothered to ask? Maybe they are people that set out to find out answers for themselves.

What have you done so far to find out anything?

No problem.

You are on this list now.

Gabor Szots
Dr Wael Deeb
Slobodan Stojanovic
Alex Schmidt
I said somewhere else, it is a little Guantanamo here. Show me similaries between Rybka and Ippolit beside the strength.

I don't think it is a decompiled Rybka, it is much more similar to Kaissa. Probably it took some ideas from other open source engines, maybe from a decompiled Rybka, but more likely just from Strelka. Maybe code where taken, maybe not. People should be unguilty until proven the oposite.

You are on this list now:

Vasik Rajlich
George W. Bush
Christopher Conkie
Chessbase

When you put it like that maybe, but the real question is whether you would prefer Slobodan to Bush and Wael to Chessbase. I think I'd take Bush and Chessbase in that situation.

AFAIK Slobo did not arrest hundrets of unguilty people on an island, so this case is clear to me. But the Wael/Chessbase choice is difficult... I'll think about that...

Mainly the beta testers and some close personalities to the Rybka team....

I don't want an e-mail or a post in a forum insuring me that it's a clone of Rybka and the russian bandits have stolen Vasik's precious work...I want a committee of experts, but you already know that....A professional opinion involves professionalists....

It seems that it's hard for you to get it right so here I go again:

If something medicaly go wrong with you in a hospital for example, you will search your rights demanding what :?: The opinion of your neighbours, your girlfriend, your mates from the childhood :?:
No Sir,you will demand a professional committee ti investigate and dig deep into the issue so that the case see the daylight....you won't listen to empty words meaning $hit....

Of course,I wish you all the best,it's just an example....

Note that in the two cases here,a professional commercial software and health care, money are invoived regardless the amount of them....so as a customer and/or as a heath insured patient I have the right to know....

One more name to add to the not-a-clone list:

[site clipped]

"RobboLito is not a 'clone' of Rybka 3, as some may like you think...it's very diferent."

Sure.

Not that anyone will lose any sleep over it.
