do you have an idea WHY the tiger grenadier made it so good ?
2nd behind nigel short ?

did they used a special playing style ? or was this a tuned machine ?

as far as i know the Grenadier was not modified and the playing style was normal(normal values for pins,attacks..etc.etc.)

you must remember the TC was only 30 seconds Avg. per move so i guess anything can happen
the big shock of the tournament was when Donningers program ..playing Black ..drew with the 1985 Weltmeister Mephisto Amsterdam
