Those engines were too tough for new Oli. N2 and BBchess were ok.

A good result against Bugchess anyway.

These are the realities of life, Carlos.
Oli must face them, sooner or later :)

Off topic:

Harun, Graham or anyone else who can answer, who do you think is the best Fruit derivative at blitz w32 SP/MP:

Toga
Protector
Cyclone
or Grapefruit?

Am I forgetting another important one?

Best,
Carlos.

Grapefruit.
Thanks for the quick reply Graham. I remember testing Gambitfruit 1.0b4x IIRC by Ryan Benitez some time ago. Is it the weakest now? I think it had the strenght of Fruit 2.3.1 or so.

Carlos.
Grapefruit 1.0 is slightly ahead of Toga II 1.4.1SE, which in turn is slightly ahead of Cyclone xTreme.
However, it's very, very close.

Cheers,
Graham.

Was it with ponder=on or ponder=off? For whatever reason OliThink performs much better with ponder=off.

Furthermore you shouldn't forget that OliThink is a very short programm (1600 lines of C Code) and those programms, who are to tough are at least 20-50 times bigger...

While I am testing 1cpu and 2cpu engines on a dual and
1cpu, 2cpu, 3cpu and 4cpu on a quad,
ponder is set to OFF.
