Thanks, Pavel and Yess! As I suspected, DS12 shows its real power
in longer games. In blitz games Stockfishes win almost all the time
against DS12x64 and DS11x64.
Best,
PS: Stockfish 16s DC & 162s DC should work on XP.
Perhaps you need installing some compiler distrib. files?

Re: StockFish - Shredder 90+30
Pavel you need Microsoft Visual C++ 2008 SP1 Redistributable Package (x64) installed on your PC to make Dann Corbit Stockfish 1.6s compile work or else you get a error installing the engine.

Stockfish does not win almost all the time in 40/4 against Shredder
and I do not see improvement of shredder relative to stockfish based on CEGT rating list
CEGT 40/4
7 Stockfish 1.6 x64 4CPU 3147 20 20 700 67.3% 3021 42.3%
14 Deep Shredder 12 x64 4CPU 3089 12 12 2100 61.3% 3009 37.0%
http://www.husvankempen.de/nunn/40_4_Ra ... ion/7.html
60.5% for stockfish
11 Stockfish 1.6 x64 2CPU 3097 17 17 998 62.9% 3005 38.3%
20 Deep Shredder 12 x64 2CPU 3040 16 16 1098 56.5% 2995 36.9%
http://www.husvankempen.de/nunn/40_4_Ra ... on/11.html
56.1% for stockfish
23 Stockfish 1.6 x64 1CPU 3039 17 17 998 63.6% 2941 36.9%
41 Deep Shredder 12 x64 1CPU 3002 11 11 2600 63.8% 2904 34.1%
http://www.husvankempen.de/nunn/40_4_Ra ... on/23.html
59% for stockfish
for comparison
one result from CEGT 40/20
http://www.husvankempen.de/nunn/40_40%2 ... ons/4.html
Stockfish 1.6 x64 4CPU-Deep Shredder 12 x64 4CPU - 3066 69 + 28 = 32 - 9 63.8 %
I guess that stockfish was lucky in the match that it scored 63.8% but my point is that stockfish seems to score usually similiar results against shredder regardless of the time control(maybe shredder is bad in blitz with no increasement but if this is the case it is only time managament problem and there is no significant difference between 40/4 and 40/20).

Yes indeed very nice.
Stockfish found Ng5+ in 17 sec with a score of +68
Spark did not find it within 5 min.
Bright finds Ng5+ after 2 sec and holds it at least up to depth 18, but the score is after 6 min still 0.
kind regards
Bernhard

In my small blitz sample, this result is around 70% for S.:
