I'll agree with you that Vas should have said more. Might have avoided a lot of the mess that has ensued.Alexander Schmidt wrote:I do not believe what I want, but what I see.Graham Banks wrote:Fair enough. As I keep repeating, people will believe what they want to believe, no matter who says what.
I would be happy if I could believe VR.
But he did not answer one of my questions.

Dont you see the darkness of your hole? For your vision it would help if you also considered the honesty of people. Whom do you believe more, Vas or the cloner addict? Is that for you really a question??? Come back to your senses. Correct your vision please. Ok, sorry, no, I never was a Wch myself in computerchess. So, just spit on me, but correct your vision on Vas.Alexander Schmidt wrote:I do not believe what I want, but what I see.Graham Banks wrote:Fair enough. "It is not Rybka 3, but it is Rybka" was what I said.Alexander Schmidt wrote:Not quite correct, he said it is Rybka 3. But thats not true as you found out.Alexander Schmidt wrote:But he did not answer one of my questions.
It's basically Rybka 3 modified. I must admit I wondered if it was from a later version at the time though.

I can think of a few.bob wrote:So exactly what justification can be given for Vas _not_ providing some clear-cut examples of identical code? I can't think of a single valid explanation, unless Robo is not really a clone.
- He doesn't care if CCC thinks its a clone or not.
- He sees the debate as beneficial to him.
- He's focusing on other things.
- He sees clearly that providing proof won't help.
For that last point, recall the strelka/fruit/rybka issue. Proof was provided and did little to accomplish anything. Witness also the recent debates here, how some live in their little world with certain laws. The laws are unchanging, regardless of evidence to the contrary-- the evidence deconstructs their world-view, and they can't cope with that.

I disagree, Vas is unable to fight or change the general stupidity of man as such. He also has a life.Graham Banks wrote:I'll agree with you that Vas should have said more. Alexander is a good and genuine person, as are many others who are yet to be convinced.Rolf wrote:Dont you see the darkness of your hole? It's not too late, and I would have no problem to beg for an excuseGraham Banks wrote:I'll agree with you that Vas should have said more. Might have avoided a lot of the mess that has ensued.

BTW, I never said Robbo is not a clone. I just say it don't look like one to me. And VR should not accuse someone of cloning without showing a proof or at least details beside "They informed me by email". Maybe it was someone else? I don't know, and it might be possible that even VR is not sure.
Cheers,
Alex
