Again
i copied all 3 CCC mods and all 3 CTf mods when emailing you about your CCC ban..
so of course Thorsten was STILL a CTF mod here..thats why i copied him
you and Skinner removed him as Mod after we reached our agreement with you

the agreement was that we (CCC) Mods would make no public announcement about the ban
we have kept that agreement

Steve
I fail to see your point. We have impending elections.

Whenever you say "we". everyone needs to know that at the time (and still is now) it was "you" and you alone. The others were after.

Don't give me the "we" thing.......because it was only "you".

You go your way, i will go mine. Just to prove there are no hard feelings, I will even relate to you a story that took place some months ago that concerns you. Nothing bad mind, just very very funny, and very very enlightening.

Have you nominated anyone yet?

:)

No, I'm not ready to post it, if at all.

Say what you like Steve. Silencing someone who was not even talking to you does not look good. Is that foot getting stampy again?

The CCC has elections. Sam can get here when he likes. I have done everything I was asked to do. Elections are here, and I can see no harm whatsoever in my talking to Graham. We discuss possibilities and your authority counts for zero.

Perhaps this has much more to do with you and your bad attitude. Show everyone some more so they can see what you are like.

It is little wonder that the place is in such a mess.

I can tell you for a red hot fact that since over two months ago, Bob Hyatt himself told me that he did not care if I posted here or not. If he says anything else he is a liar, but I know that he is not. Instead, I decided not to. I wanted to see just how far the obsessive Steve B would take things.

It is now quite obvious just how far you will go. Have you no shame? I might get you banned for gross misconduct.

It is good that people can see democracy in action. Or should I say Steve B dictatorship........

There is a higher authority than you Steve. I have done nothing wrong.

I have only told everyone the absolute truth.

Your agreement, by demonstration, evidence, is worth nothing, and if anyone upholds it, they are as corrupt as you.

:)

I can't put that any plainer.

If I am not correct, Bob has stated that Chris can post.

Therefore the agreement is gone. Why would his account be deactivated?

I was kicked out of Chapters because I moved all the Bibles to the fiction section.

i am totally unaware of any thing like this what-so-ever
each decision that has been made regarding the ban from the beginning has been discussed amongst all three mods including the decision to deactivate his account tonight after he broke his agreement
again...all three mods..
from the get go.. including today
contact Dann and Bob yourself to verify this

Steve, could you please enlighten outsiders like me what is going on here or went on?

I read that Czub was banned. I mainly read it in Czub's own messages on his pages. Nothing there about Conkie at all. Now I read or did I get this wrong way, that also Conkie has been banned here, but why the silence about it? Since I thought anyway that since he wasnt there the sort of blackmail madness had gone with him -- correction: with faint rests in some aggressive other poster(s) here. If you asked but what blackmail you are talking, Rolf, I can explain this. Conkie has, against the main charter point, personally tried to take me "under" by threatening me with "stop writing here, come quickly to CTF we are waiting there on you and then we can ban you, something in that spirit". I thought at the time, that such personal extincting fanrtasy=obsession shouldnt be allowed here, but unfortunately it is revived now with the couple of messages Conkie had written tonight. In this sort of mad language of allegating all sort of things between the lines. But this not to make some jokes, something I'm trying to do myself as a foreign writer, but he, Conkie, is writing in a style which is going for the kill each time. With a top hate ingredient. Somehow this looks, from abroad, as if C were the original and Deeb the clone. Please allow the insinuation for one time. Because I can honestly report that here in both cases I feel uncomfortable at once because of the killer input. In my eyes this is dangerous for any public forum. It makes the climate freeze on uncomfortable levels.

Now we have always the same question. What to do if such guys wrote opening books for public use, what if they were always first in detecting clones? Wouldnt this outplay the other negative components? Many here might think that yes, such experts should be allowed to spit hate all they want in case they had also shown that they contribute. I disagree.

Book authors we have plenty and experts who can detect clones too. But the poison of psychopathy is something more important.

Look how Conkie is painting you. "Obsessed" by whatever. Says someone who is perhaps the maddest guy in the scene. Look, you kept away from public and concentrated yourself on silent moderation while he comes like a dangerous hurricane and it looks like he would also kill the whole forum if he doesnt get things the way he wants them to look like.

If I could be allowed to make a proposal then this is this here:

- outsiders like me who dont know anything about the difficult problems of CC, should post in the general subforum and give their questions and views, by abstaining from elevated subs for programming and tornament tests; if you find e.g. my questions outlandish, you are free to ignore it or also learn from Bob's often enlighting answers! - however

- insiders like Conkie who have something good to offer, should write only in the specific subs while abstaining from more general topics where they would only give their dangerous poison on topics who could better be handled via email or PM. Because it is by nature of their character always meant to challenge the mods or even the host of the forum as such because below there were no cake for such political rowdies

Wouldnt that be a more productive solution for the apparent probs with such highly engaged characters like Czub or Conkie or Webb? Just as a thought to find elegant solutions without total extinction.
-Popper and Lakatos are good but I'm stuck on Leibowitz

I believe that my comment to Chris way back was that his postings did not particularly bother me. I am somewhat selective in what I read here, as I always have been. But I did tell him explicitly that the group was unhappy with his using his CTF moderation position to step over into the CCC area and ban someone on a whim.

I don't give "permission" without agreement from all of us. We were elected as a team, and have served as a team, and we agreed that banning required the three of us to agree except in those rare occasions where one is unavailable due to travel or whatever.
