Or do we just send personalities for Komodo until Feb 28th ?

Jim.
The Linux versions are still broken.

Hi Gian-Carlo,
I think you are still using the original builds.
I also recompiled Linux versions and tested them working correctly.

By the way I got an exception error in a tourney. Didn't seem to affect play as the tourney continued but there seems to be a bug causing this.

What do you mean exception error? Did the program crash?

Hello Jim,
The latest Komodo x64 compile crashed already 4 times in 230 games. Compared to other engines this is quite often.
Winx XP - 64
Classic GUI
256 MB Hash
The whole comp has 4GB memory, and no other engine is crashing.
Just an information in case others are "complaining" as well.

Finally we see engine's current thinking line, great! Komodo is like Doch very non-tactical engine (at least 32b version). In ECM and Arasan based tactical testsuites is by far slowest engine I have even slower than Crafty
. R3 is about 2-3 times faster and Spark 4-5 times faster. This of course confirms, that tactics are not so important at all.

It runs hundreds of thousands of games on my tester without crashing, but I have a theory about this I will look into.
