Naum 4.1 added to the IPON list ...

... with 1000 games for the initial run.

500 more games will follow.

Very close call between Naum 4.1 and Komodo 1.0. Interesting to see if the next 500 games can change something.

Whole +8 points over 4. Koch has +16. With Stockfish we are used to +70
steps 8-)

Hi

At the moment I play vs 4 "weaker" and one equal engine. In the past ALL engines lost some Elo when playing vs weaker opponent - lets see whats happening here - but: A.Naumov said it is a bug fix for analysis, I do not expect a big jump in playing strength.

It is not a surprise.

Naumov already explained in the past that in case of a big improvemet he is going to use the name Naum5 and not Naum4.1

It is clear that
Naum4.xx has no chance for +70

+ another 500 games vs 'weaker' engines

1500 games initial run is finished. Very close 4th place in the single list!

Of course, the moment I make a prediction the engine behaves different.

Naum 4.1 gains a few Elo out of the "weaker" engines!
