Anyone fancy a blitz tournament?

Post by Peter Skinner »

Hello everyone,

I am on the FICS server as we speak, and I am about to open a 5 0 DDR tournament for participants to test their setups for the main event.

Make sure you join channel 49 and 64 by typing: +join 64 and +join 49.

ANYONE with a computer account may enter, this is not limited to CCT participants.

Come and have some fun!

I was kicked out of Chapters because I moved all the Bibles to the fiction section.

I tried to log in but the account (Hannibal) that you set up for me is locked. I tested a few days ago and everything was fine. Now it asks me to email abuse@freechess.org (which I did). I guess someone didn't like losing to me or something .

I am a FICS newbie. I typed "+join 64 and +join 49" but did not get any chess board to see the games. I use the default jin interface. Maybe the tournament is finished, but I'd like to know anyway for the upcoming tournament(s).

Could you help me out?

Thanks in advance,
Carlos
