This was under Arena 2.01. It is well known Arena's issue to handle the exact time left for the engines. If the engine has an aggressive time management, it could lose games on time. In your opinion this game should be awarded to white? In the move 107, black had forfeited by time. Or should it be given to Black?

I love Arena, but I wish they could fix this in the following version. IMO, if the gui detects that an engine has run out of time, the game must be stopped automatically, not allowing these things to happen.

Carlos

In Arena 1.1, under tournament options, there is a "Autoflag" option. If this is checked, when an engine runs out of time, the game is automatically stopped and is scored as a loss for that engine.

Hi David,

Maybe Arena 1.1 is better in this case.

I already configure that in Arena 2.01:

Engines>Tournament>Options>Autoflag checked.
