Hi Pavel!
I would like to try your Topalov book in my computer account at FICS, if you don't mind.

Hello Pavel

I also made some polyglot books from different game files. Mostly the size is smaller than 1 Mb.
Your book is 17MB !!
How many games did you use??
How deep is the book?
What kind of database(s) did you use?

Thanks for any answer

kind regards, Clemens

Anywhere layers:
1.Two layers depth 10 and 20 - last 2 years 2300+ (!)
2.layers depth probably 30 - 2600+ and correspondence games 2300+
3. (2)+gambit and exotic variants
4.Two layers correspondence, CEGT(long time), SSDF(Q6600), FICGS (cca 2300+)
5.My select correspondence games, my computer games, Playchess(long time)
6.Playchess 2600+(all time, min use probably 10 ...)
7.Some repairs

Yes, 17MB big size, but:
- some books is larger (Naum 65MB ...)
- I not have quality database, needed over games and higher parameter min_use (for 1.layers 50/25!).
- I like width books, no one variant specials. For size smaller 1MB needed hight-quality database, not time for select.
