It's easy to calculate (linear) correlation with OpenOffice. I got this order:
STS 5 0,685
STS 9 0,666
STS 8 0,629
STS 4 0,559
STS 7 0,546
STS 6 0,518
STS 1 0,487
STS 10 0,451
STS 3 0,387
STS 2 0,323
But I am not statistics expert so i can't tell significance of result. Some sources say big correlation is 0,50 or more.

Re: STS - List the Order of Importance
Thanks, Jouni.
STS 2 depends entirely on engine's mobility. Therefore, I can see why it doesn't relate to actual engine strength.
Interesting to know that Bishop vs Knight and Advancement of f/g/h pawns are highly correlated with engine strength.
STS 8, STS 9 and STS 5 are the areas where any improvement to the engine really counts!!

Addition: I also counted correlation with total score for WBEC, CEGT and CCRL (25, 38 and 31 engines). I got
0,797 0,773 0,785

0,797 0,773 0,785
