Ivanhoe v73 is IMHO not the best. Firebird 1.2 beats it clearly, while Firebird looses narrowly 24-26 to Ivanhoe-B 63modb3

Agreed. There are better and newer versions. I'd say the best is among IvanHoe B63modB10c / Mini 7 / Mod5a.

Thanks for the info. Interesting. Ivanhoe 73 is the one
i downloaded from chessLogik.
I will continue the tests till a new version is posted for
download.
Does the Ivanhoe you posted lose or go for a draw
when it is a certain win in the end game.
Sometimes it can be up by 5 points and still goes for the draw.

Hi Bram.
Talked to a few people at computer schach and some think
that Ivanhoe 73 may be about the same as the latest
version Ivan-b63modb9. So i will continue the v73 for
awhile than switch to the latest Ivan version.
Most of the games i have seen are at very fast time and
under 50 games which does not tell me much.
