Thx Ingo,
so after 142 of 1100 games Rybka 4 is 72 ELO better than R3.
Becomes interesting to see the perfomance against Fire 1.2 or better 1.3 !
Who will win this ? I think it will become very close

kind regards Bram

I guaranty it will come down to a hair. This time Rybka will win at short time controls and it will be more even at long t/c.

Stockfish is holding it's own pretty well, and Komodo and Naum aren't doing too badly either. Looks like Rybka 4 is going to be the strongest engine for a bit, Fire 1.3 might surpass it, we'll see....

EDIT: Maybe Komodo and Naum actually aren't. Well, Komodo at least isn't doing too well anymore.....

Rybka 4 Performance =2950 so yet after 248 out of 1100 games played +53 ELO above Rybka 3

seems that Larry Kaufman has made the most realistic ELO prognosis :-)

and now it is almost 70 Elo again. Seriously though, at 1+0, it is possible the default time settings are not the best. IIRC, setting the Normal Move from 80 to 70 at such a fast time control improved its results.

Exactly 60 points at the moment. Hmm: in 20 months it's 3 points in a month :o Clearly Rybka has reached it's peak now? Stockfish has about
same gain in 3 months!

which means Stockfish should gain 20 points a month. If you x 20 = 400 points.... for 20 months...

IPON is finíshed, with Rybka 4 against 11 Opponents.
http://www.inwoba.de/

IPON List Ratings:
Rybka 3 = 2897 (After 5000 games)
Deep Rybka 4 x64 = 2951 (After 1100 games)

PS: I am not lucky with the Opponents of Rybka 4 (I missed Fritz 12 and Critter) but ok, perhaps Rybka 4 will plays later against Critter and Fritz 12 for this list?!

It must be tuned against Deep Sjeng :P.

This looks quite impressive, noticeably 56.0-44.0 vs. Stockfish.

My guess: +100-120 elo to R3 in bullet, +60-70 in blitz, and +30-50 in long t/c. This will put it a bit above IvanHoe/Fire. Eagerly awaiting next Stockfish.....

Isn't Houdini stronger than IvanHoe/Fire? I wonder if anyone has matched Rybka 4 against Houdini yet.
