Thanks for the match Gerold.

Nice comeback by DR4. What book do you use for the engines?

Carlos

Hi Carlos. Using the Rybka book for this match.
I may continue it later. However the last 20 games
Firebird did not do to good.

I have turned my attention to the Houdini engine.
It is very strong. Running it vs. IvanHoe. The
winner gets to play Fire 1.3.1.
Right now it looks like Houdini will win.

Best,
Gerold.

P.S. Is there any engine that you see as being stronger
then Houdini at this time.
Can run a match for you if you like.

Thanks for the tests Gerold. Personally, I would like to see more games vs Rybka 4, so we can get a sense of how it performs against some of these other top engines.

Yes more games with Rybka 4 will be interesting.
When i can determine which of these other engines
are the strongest i hope to play some more games
with Rybka 4.
Houdini is looking so strong vs. other engines i had
to see for myself how it does.
Playing 10 minute games now. When i have 100
games completed i will post it in the morning.

Best,
Gerold.

Thanks for the offer, Gerold! You are very kind.

Hmm, probably IvanHoe B63Mod12c is the strongest right now (by a little margin though.) I'd like to see it against DR 4 and also I'd like to see how Fire 1.31 and Houdini 1.01 do against DR 4 too.

Best,
Carlos

I did test with IvanHoe 10c and it was about the same as the
earlier version of Houdini.
With other test i have seen there is little difference between
IH 10c and 12c.

I do not like how the Rybka forum has talked about Harry.
IMO he has the strongest and most stable books. He
is also very honest man. Until He is cleared of any wrong
doing or i get an email from one i sent to Vas i will not
test any Rybka products.

Best,
Gerold.
