Thanks for the update.

Woooow. 75 ELO sounds excellent.

Please provide an experimental x64 compile for me :)

Best,
Well, you never know until more games are played but we guess it is a nice gap yes.

The 64 bit compile is a "bit" complicated. Dirty is composed by an EXE (written in C) and a DLL (written in Delphi -Pascal-) There is no 64 bit Delphi, but I managed to compile it with Free Pascal 64 bit. Next weekend will check it out. My first guess is it will not be faster than 32 bit one but who knows...

Thanks for your interest.
Great news. I'll wait for few weeks, no problem.

It's much improved. My guess is that it's already well above 2600.

It's score in this test is comparable to those of Jonny, Slowchess, Abrok, Daydreamer, Baron.

So, congrats!

Thanks, I've been trying to download it and it appears that the site has been down since the morning, however I'm able to download the engine now.
Thanks for the advice. Maybe we exceeded the download quota :) (Joking).

BTW : this version got 636 in STS 1- 10. 10'' per pos If you run "bench" in console you can compare your system speed with mine's:

Time : 1156
Nodes : 736893

Former release (14M-22) got 613 in same conditions.

Like Harun, I'm waiting for a 64-bit version to start my test. I'm very excited with this new version, and hope the 64-bit version will be a small improvement too.

Regards.

Many thanks for the test it confirms mine although there are curious differences (I sent you by email) as we have the same hardware.

Of course, the engine is still far away from those monster you listed but that means we still have more fun ahead :-)

Dirty 6J-22 is available at :

Several changes in search
Nothing new in eval

It seems to be quite better (+75 ELO (?) ) than former Dirty 14M-22 but let's see...

Cheers

Pradu, Andrés and Fonzy
+75? Congratulations guys. I will have to test it soon.

Yes it's true that the engine has improved by over 75 elo. I'm retesting it to see how consistent the results are.

Gracias Aser :-)

Anyways, the 64 bit version, if we manage to build one, would be a very experimental thing.... more dirty than usual :-)

 Seeing the hopes you place in the 64-bit version, I will test the 32-bit one the next week.

Thanks Andrés!

Just tried the 64 bit stuff and there is not speed gain vs 32 bit one (even it is a bit worse). Maybe the Free Pascal 64 bit crosscompiler is not good enough of we have to port all the DLL code to C . This will take a bit (nice work for summer holidays :-).
