it seems that these might be the best terms...

Teams of three moderators will run as candidates
the term will be for 1 year
all members who have been registered for 6 months and who have at least 50 posts will be allowed to vote
in some rare cases there are long time members who post infrequently and they will be considered on a case by case basis
the vote will remain open for 4 days and if no team gets a clear 51% majority there will be a 3 day run off between the two top teams

this will provide harmony amongst the moderation team regarding the most divisive issues
it will provide consistency in moderation for a year rather then turmoil every 6 months
it will remove all clouds on the integrity of the vote eliminating non-posting.. late in the day sign-up's from manipulating the vote
long term but non posting members will have a chance to vote as well

if we can at least nail down the terms then teams can be formulated
we are running out of time

Best Regards
Steve
OK
this looks like an acceptable set of revised election terms given the feedback these last few days..

Teams of three moderators(+ 1 Reserve) will run as candidates
the term will be for 6 Months
all members who have been registered for 6 months and who have at least 40 posts will be allowed to vote
in some rare cases there are long time members who post infrequently and they will be considered on a case by case basis
the vote will remain open for 4 days and if no team gets a clear 51% majority there will be a 3 day run off between the two top teams

CCC..the ONLY forum worldwide to elect its moderators Regards

Steve
I think thouse rules shall be voted by members according to Democracy.

next:
The candidates to vote shall get numbers of supporters before they will get nomination, lets say 10 users - democracy.

When we are voting for president there are limitations for person which can be nominated i.e. it can not be the president of other country - so the mods of the others forum shall be EXCLUDED either - democracy. :-)
Is not it ?

We will see which 'democracy' we do have ?

I see here so called limited democracy, it reminds me old times, if you are in the communist party you can vote and be voted :-) if not sorry. :-(

Democracy regards

My signature is the question which many people are asking themselves.

Is it so dangerous that the governing people are afraid to speak about ?

its fine for you to ask whatever questions you want..
but actually this is a club to discuss Computer Chess
each time you make a post you are making a political statement as well
some avatars and signatures would not be acceptable
i remember once where someone tried using a Swastika as his Avatar
it was removed by moderation
another time someone tried using a photo of a convicted war criminal as an avatar..also disallowed

your signature is not so over the top as to be the basis of any complaints i guess
its up to the mods to determine if your signature should be allowed should anyone complain

Bye Hetman Regards

I am not finding sth wrong. it is a bit odd.
It is the question which shall be set and answered.
There can be other limitattions age, weight, height etc. :-)
I would be for weight.

Everyone can be Rolf, you, me etc.
It depends of point of sitting.

Limitation regards
Hood.

It is not political statement. It is question about trueth.

By the way our dead President was sponsor and patrone of chess events.
So it is about chess too.

No you wouldn't, there might be another reason why you would be disqualified - people can't see your weight.
