i doubt Connie even considered a R lift to e4 but the text does prevent that for the time being
personally i just think she was feeling a bit impatient and finally was able to make a move not defending her Q

I play 20.Kh2. This has a threat to trap the Black queen, but unfortunately it is a five ply threat so Connie should see it and even if she doesn't see it if she plays ...d4 it will become only a 3 ply threat which she will definitely see. Still at least I may wring some concession out of Black due to failure to play ...d6 last move, but Connie can well afford some small concession here, being up a rook and two pawns.

Hi Larry.
I think Connie will see that and play Bc8.

I'm guessing the Connie will follow up with either 20..d4 or Bc8.

Connie relishes the thought of getting in some Q chasing herself with...

I play 21.Qa3. On this square the queen cannot be further attacked, and it "freezes" the c6 knight by attacking the other one, meanwhile renewing the threat to trap the queen.

Connie answers with the pretty much forced ..
21..Bc8

[d] r1br2k1/p1p1nppp/1pn5/4P2q/3p4/Q2B1N1P/P4PPK/2B1R3 w - - 0 22

Interestingly ..in this position both Q's have a combined total of 3 "safe" squares they can move to without being captured

All dressed up with no place to go regards

I'm returning to this post as I posted a main variation that is being played out up to 21..Bc8.

I can't find a line that will compromise Black unless it plays a whopper and so far Black has played more like an expert than a C player.

I'd like to add I missed the idea of 19..d5 and at first thought it a dubious move but in reality it was an ! move, better than d6 in this situation due to the Evan's Gambit being played with a Q-Rook down.

No matter what Larry does I see an easy win for Black with the Q-Side pawns. Larry is down too much material and Black can return some material with a devastating position.

It appears using the Evan's Gambit was the wrong strategy with this machine at Q-Rook Odds, Larry has made no real errors with some doubt about 20. Kh2?! trying to snag the Queen with g4; But what else? I'm afraid it's going to be 0-1. Anything shy of a miracle, the Connie has this game. Sorry Larry. :(
