Interviews with chess programmers: Search software for iPad?

Post by Frank Quisinsky »

Hi there,

today in the town I test a little bit the new iPad. So I have the idea to create a little iPad book with all 38 interviews I made with chess programmers in the latest years.

But I don't understand what software I have to use to do that.
Any help would be great.

You can distribute your book as a simple pdf which can be manually imported by the user to the iBooks app on the iPad. Alternatively, go to https://itunesconnect.apple.com/WebObje ... a/wa/apply and submit your PDF file there and it will be listed on the ibookstore of the iBooks app. You can choose to either charge or make your book free.

Shivkumar,

that's easy for me.
Understand it now.

THANKS for the hints and your time.
I think I do that next month.

You are welcome.

Another benefit of releasing it in ibooks format is that it can be read on the iphone as well. See http://www.apple.com/iphone/features/ibooks.html for screenshots. Also be prepared to wait a few weeks before your book is "accepted" by apple.
