I am not a mod here but I think this kind of talk should be in a PM.

With that said I appreciate Ingo's work but I also would like to see the games.

It's his decision not to upload them and we have to respect that.

PS: All TCEC fans are in for a treat later today.

Hello George,

The reason why there are no games is, that this list is just a byproduct of my beta testing. I do not want the openings to be public, even if they are not that special. Have a look at my general remarks. Either you accept it or you have to look at the other lists, there are enough.
I agree totally, the lack of games makes it less serious, but I have to balance several interests here. Sorry for that.

Regarding the "I just watch statistics and no real chess" that is true - and the exact specialty with my list! You might consider as well that there are 15 games at the same time, in average one is finished every minute. You cant follow all of them, it is exactly the statistic that counts, nothing else.

Have a nice weekend

Thanks Sedat,

Your critic sounds a tiny little bit like it is coming from someone who is a bit jealous ... I take that as a compliment.

Have anice weekend

jealous
What are talking about ???

Why i should be 'jealous' for your rating list, you asked me before and now you've got my opinion ?!

BTW,you have:
- better engines ?
- stronger opening books ?
- faster hardwares ?
- more played games, which are not available ?

Look, actually i am a little bit 'jealous' do you know for what:
- for those people who spend more time for non-computer chess life !

Greetings,
Sedat

Dear Martin,
I am not a mod here but I think this kind of talk should be in a PM.
Thanks for your comments, but maybe you missed to read some messages...note that all previous criticism against me were only public and now this time, why my messages should be private to them ???

Best Regards,

After 39 games Houdini is now +63 elo over Rybka 4 @ 40moves/5. This is a gain of +43 over version 1.03a on my rating list.

Hello Ingo,

Thanks a lot for your understanding... :)

I strongly believe in that:
-people who are really 'jealous' have no respect/success not only in compterchess activity, but even in the real life too !

Note also that i have never started firstly criticizing any chess fun's work so far, just they've got my responses later (including you) and now our friendship with them (who criticized me before) is even more close

And i hope our latest discussions will not damage our chess friendship

Happy weekend to you too
Sedat
