Stockfish 2.0: How much stronger?

With only a few games tested Stockfish 2.0 has moved into the #2 spot. If this holds it looks like 2 programs have pasted Rybka 4. This is a new rating list for all programs as I now test on a i7 cpu 64bit. This is my current top 3.


1 Houdini 1.5 x64 2681 63
2 Stockfish 2.0 JA 64bit 2637 27
3 Deep Rybka 4 SSE42 x64 2618 62

Need many more games though.

If more and more engines surpass Rybka 4, Vas might have problems with his rental service and his plans for Rybka 5.

No problem! He only needs to release the best Rybka now, and continue making improvements to the rental versions.
