Insulting peoples and a full region seems to be a hobby for Mr. Diosi.
Leting posted these insults -from days- seems to me unacceptable for some presumptive equidistant moderators .

Just to be clear:

I have spoken to the member. I have spoken to you.

You however have decided that you are here to defend the integrity, rights and morals of all peoples you feel were insulted by Mr. Diosi. Further, you insist on insulting the moderators and continuing on a program of protest according to you.

Lastly, you insist that you be banned if you do.

I assure you that you do not need to ask to be banned if you do not adhere to the rules of this forum sir. It will happen naturally.

Your comments directed at me will remain as I believe that the membership should feel free to criticise their elected moderators - as long as it does not invite responses resembling flaming.

I urge you to re-consider this proposed course of yours but you are your own man in the end....

Wrong implication from your side or everyday syllogistic mistake. I mean that you assume I agree with what "they" did. No way. Your false generalization is what I call Chauvinism.

That's not what chauvinism is, nor is chauvinism a proper noun (a noun that's supposed to be capitalized). He isn't claiming that his country is superior. He's categorically claiming that the residents of another are lacking in scruples. There's a difference between the two. What he's doing would best be classified as stereotyping.

I would put this in the previous thread, but there's a 15 minute time limit on editing.

Granted, Mr. Diosi does seem to stereotype, possibly out of anger. Granted that's not proper forum etiquette.

However, I've been over to the other site, and I see the same lack of etiquette over there. Rude behavior appears to be acceptable to you on that site. Why are your standards different here?

Lack of attitude? I don't read threads about Arena since I don't use it. I doubt Roger or Fern do either. Bottom line is we don't see most problems unless someone clicks the "report post" button.

Actually, there is a complaints button.

Your post is subject to deletion for the simple fact that there are to be no requests that a member be banned etc.

Should a warning be required it could not be seen to be in response to requests lest there then be a slew of such requests. What if there was such a request about you?

Please assist the mods by using the appropriate channels and refrain from posts like these.

You can either follow forum rules, or be banned. Up to you. Doesn't matter to me. But again, we (a) don't read every thread. Not our jobs. (b) we don't react to a single complaint.

In theory- here -are educated and well- mannered persons.
And "there" only marginal persons.
In theory !
Practical- they are present-in both forums- the same human defects.
Better for me to go in M27 galaxy SNCCF (Super Nano Computer Chess Forum) !
In SNCCF are-for sure-nice persons and equidistant & kindly mods. And..........without sponsors !

Well let me put it this way so you understand, take a look at the Arena page:
News items : 198, 196, 195, 194, 193, 192, 186, 176, 175, 174, 173, 169,...


For all those and all othes news items, I have asked for permission for using the material for each of them. You see it is not that difficult (maybe it is for some, you know who and from where).

Nevermnd, no more interviews on the Arena page or info in the next time (I had some which were ready for publication DGT, Phoenix), let's see if they can provide instead of copying everything (I doubt it). As I see they have found "Hoffman" announced at the old Arena forum in 2008
