Yes thanks for posting these. I was thinking the problem was me not being able to navigate a German site. I tried the test positions, seems no problem. I always clear hash before running the position. It is possible that there might still be some stalls if you keep re-running the suite, but for sure the stalls are dramatically less.

Can I ask, what software do you use to run the suite automatically. And is it possible to put like a time limit on each move. I mean like if in a certain time the engine does not find the proper move, then that would be considered a "fail".

Actually I tried the first position several times, and I guess sometimes it will take much longer. Not sure if that could be considered a bug, or simply if it is initial search luck ... where the engine randomly selects what it thinks are equally good options to search.

Multicore of course. But there is no doubt, that R4.1 is better in all mate suites with about 25% more solutions. Possible explanation: fixing of "stall" bug whatever it ever means?!
