Hi,
the famous Komodo Engine entered my M-Chess vs World 2 tournament.
Lets see if the old Champion M-Chess can stand against this new very strong World class Engine....
Komodo is playing with Version 1.2 with 1024 MB Hash and Fritz 10 Book.
M-Chess with 60 MB Hash and my special book.
1 Game is running at the moment with live broadcast on chessbase server
Enjoy the game...

I just wondered why you are using such an ancient version of Komodo? Was it to give M-Chess a fighting chance perhaps?Alibaba wrote:Hi,

Re: M-Chess vs World 2: Komodo entered the tournament...
Hi,
the reason why i start with this old Komodo version in my M-Chess vs World 2 tournament is, i always start with an old version of a challenger and play mini matches against all M-Chess version as long as the challenger can win all of these mini matches...
If the challenger fail to win a mini match it will be replaced against the next version of the challenger, so if komodo 1.2 will fail it will be replaced by komodo 1.3.
This tournament conditions allow to see the difference and improvements of the M-Chess versions and of the challenger versions....
I play with a small mchess book so that it is likely that mchess play the same openings so the different versions can better be compared...
Komodo64 1.2 Ja win the match vs M-Chess Pro 8.0 with 2,5 - 0,5
