The answer shows me not to discuss internal arrangements here. I think we are in a line with other lists. There is no dictat to test a certain engine. In my eyes there are no differences here between top engines or weaker amateur engines and there is no way to test them all. Inside CEGT the testers are free to choose the engines which are tested.

Werner, Adam, Graham, and Ingo:

You and your testing groups (CCRL, CEGT and IPON) have great influence on the decisions of users...

Your continued testing of Rybka, Strelka, and Houdini promotes the legitimacy, popularity of, and desire for these 'cloned' engines.
At least two of the authors are benefiting financially (one of them for many years) from this highly visible top-of-the-list exposure.

Can't you understand that you are then in fact directly supporting (and in league with) the same 'behavior', (even worse IMO) that you condemn and vilify me for?

One more question if I may..

The inclusion of Rybka, Strelka, and Houdini on your lists, but the notable absence of IvanHoe means:

a.) we're still angry about the Ippolit family being so strong and overtaking Rybka 3
b.) kranium has been extremely critical of us, therefore we blacklist it because he's somehow associated with it
c.) a program w/ anonymous authors is worse than cloning and lying
d.) other - we have no idea what...need more time to think of something
