Right now, I am starting to use ChessGUI for engine-engine matches (using Round Robin).
I am looking for some good, balanced cgb books.
I have tried the (ChessGUI-included) ChsGUI_Book.cgb and also Perfect_2010.cgb. But with them, the games begin after so many book moves (around 20 or more...) that we are already in late middle game!
Is it possible to limit the moves and how?
Or what cgb book would you advise (I don't want to go into book-building myself)?
What do you think and where can I download some of the cgb books you (or CCRL) have used:
HarrySchnapp
AdamHair 8moves (I think 8moves is what I want, but which one: the "mini" or the "not mini")
Picasso (what is this "new" book?)
Other...

In the Book Options, you can limit the number of moves played from book. I usually check random per game to get more variety. * checking or not the box "Use GUI remis Book" (I checked)
* what are sequential per cycle (I checked that) or per game, random per cycle/game (has Matthias explained it somewhere?)
* I left BookLine Offset at default 1 and Book Moves at default 2. Obviously that doesn't limit the number of moves (so how to do to limit, say to 10?)
