This tournament can be followed more closely from the following link, where games will also be available for download after every two rounds:
http://kirill-kryukov.com/chess/discuss ... f=7&t=6367

Alternatively, if you install TLCV (Tom's Live Chess Viewer) on your computer, you can watch the games live move by move. You'll also be able to chat to others following the tournament in the chatroom there.

Yes - my broadcasts have been running since I posted. Can you connect to Olivier's OpenWar or ChessWar broadcasts?

Not sure if this helps, but here are the instructions from Olivier's ChessWars site:

Download TLCV (Windows), WBRGO (Windows) or REGO-java (Windows/Linux/Mac)
The address to connect is:
— Host chesswar.dyndns.org Port 16043 (ChessWar)
— Host chesswar.dyndns.org Port 16044 (OpenWar)
If you are behind a network, firewall or router, you may need to open ports 16043 and 16044 in UDP protocol.

For Linux users, take a look here:
http://fireflychess.dyndns.org
http://fireflychess.dyndns.org/index2.html

The Java viewer (REGO) is there.

You can also run Wine on Linux, then run TLCV on Wine

Sorry to hear that you were unsuccessful. Thanks for trying though. :)
