Thanks Graham for your tournaments!
So far I'm very disappointed with how 1.06 performs, according to CCRL live it looks like it will end even below 1.05, perhaps even falling below 2600! :(
This makes me mad because I value CCRL quite a lot.
I thought I embarassed myself with 1.05 enough already
I honestly don't know what could be causing that but I assure you that it scored better (beyond noise) against 1.05 at both 40/4 and 40/20 in my tests (but I can't test of course :)
I find it strange that it does better in CEGT (1.06 x64 = 2644 at 40/20, ~30 elo above 1.05 which I expected).
I'm only testing the 32-bit version so I doubt it's a problem with 32-bit vs 64-bit (which is exactly the same except 30% faster).
Nevermind, I'll try to do my best until I'm 100% sure that the next version is better than all the previous versions currently rated in CCRL.

Hi Martin,

I'm running some further games to see if the rating improves for Cheng3 1.06 32-bit, so we'll see what happens. :)

Graham.
Thanks but honestly I think it plays really lame so far. So I don't think it's a coincidence :)
Perhaps the previous versions were overrated because I rushed with new realeases.
We'll see. Thanks again.
