This is a bug in UCI mode. A workaround is to run as a Winboard engine.

Funny not a single problem here in 30 games. Maybe because im under linux version?

Hello Jon, thanks for the release. I trying to run Arasan 14 as a UCI engine under the Deep Fritz 11 Gui and keep getting freeze-ups with an error message "Arasan caused an exception."
Is there a way around this?

I also get problems when using Arasan under Deep Fritz 12: when running testsuites engine occasionally crashes - same problem seen with previous versions too.

I don't have Deep Fritz. I have tested UCI under Arena and Shredder and it seems to work there - it can analyze, play games etc.

Not sure I can fix this unless you can provide some detail that will let me reproduce it (w/o Fritz).
