Incredible that Vitruvius beat Crittter.
Did you check the CPU usage in the tournament ?
I started a match between Critter and Vitruvius this afternoon, Vitruvius was leading then I realised that Critter was using only 2-3% of my system instead of 13% (My system is 4 cores - 8 threads).
Cheers,
Gab

Yeah, I check in on the tournament a number of times as its progressing. There weren't any problems. CPU utilization was normal, program memory usage was normal, all extraneous processes were stopped prior to running the tournament, and the box was disconnected from the Internet as usual. The results are within the margins. I was surprised, too.gleperlier wrote:...ATOMICC wrote:http://atomicc-testing.blogspot.com/201 ... -111c.html

from game 49:
[d] r1r2b1k/pp3pp1/2n1p2p/nq1pP2N/b1pP2QB/P1P2N2/1P3PPP/1R1B1RK1 w - - 0 22
Critter played Nxg7, which is winning, but an even better move is Bf6!.
