This is not limited to Delphil, nearly every engine is significantly better with more CPU power... :D

why your testing best top MP engines again and again, instead to having better comparison to testing other engines that can also be MP, maybe your want only see the best has best !

...also would be fine if your rating list are be only "Best Single Version" and i mean only single versions and not doubled versions too.

...and also would be fine if you make/devide the list to "Best MP version with 2cpu", "Best MP version with 4cpu", "Best MP version with 6cpu", and i mean it so, no mix of 2cpu with 4cpu or 6cpu tested engines together in one list.

Hi Engin,
Engin wrote:...also would be fine if your rating list are be only "Best Single Version" and i mean only single versions and not doubled versions too.
In our blitz list all is ok, only one version (the "really" best one) from every engine.
But I think you talk about our 40/20 list, do you? In this case you are right, there are many versions in it which should not be in a "best versions" list. For example x64 and w32, and also older versions, e.g. Komodo 4.0, 3.0, 2.03, 1.x etc. Only 4.0 x64 should be in the best versions list! Maybe our 40/20 webmaster(s) can change this one time...
...and also would be fine if you make/devide the list to "Best MP version with 2cpu", "Best MP version with 4cpu", "Best MP version with 6cpu", and i mean it so, no mix of 2cpu with 4cpu or 6cpu tested engines together in one list.
I'm not a webmaster and so I don't know whether this would be practicable without too much investment of time. From my (testers) point of view tests with 2CPU don't make much sense, so I only test the really best engines with x64-2CPU for our blitz list. Six CPU is senseless (though we have some in our 40/20) so remaining are 1CPU (single) and 4CPU, next step will probably be 8CPU/cores in the future.

To be honest, 4CPU tests are very time and hardware consuming so our default testing concentrates on single versions and only the best are tested with quad power. I have three QuadCores running here 24/7 but rarely with 4CPU tests. The reason is simple: We manage several lists with different time controls (blitz, 40/20, 40/20 with PB=on, 40/120), so it is simply not possible to test every MP capable engine with maximum CPU power, sorry!

If you wish your Tornado to be tested with 4CPU, I can make a test during the next weeks, but with blitz time control (40/3) only! Is 4.88 still the actual version?
Best
