3-4-5 piece tablebases
Ponder off
Playchess2012-1.cgb book
40 moves in 25 minutes repeating (adapted for the CCRL)
4 cycles 44 rounds
All engines 64-bit 1CPU where available
The top engine will gain automatic promotion and the bottom engine will gain automatic relegation. The second top engine and the second bottom engine might have to play grading matches to determine which division they will play in for the next series.

Division 2 is always a nice tournament and Bouquet really did well. Not too far off Division 1 status. :)

Clearly a difficult tournament for Arasan. Hopefully my next version will do better :-).

Indeed.
Sometimes one has bad tournaments, so fingers crossed for a change of fortune next time.
Arasan is still a fine engine regardless. :)

Wow, half a year back Crafty was playing in the first division and is now
close to the third. If I look to the participants of the 1.division i am pretty
sure we will see Spark again soon in the second one, although Spark
is already a very very strong engine.

It's pretty tough gaining promotion into Division 1 and managing to stay there, as you're aware.

Nemo looks likely to have a playoff match against Quazar for a place in the next Division 1 tournament.
