I had a problem with 2 of the first 8 moves, so I stopped the program.

Ba3, stalls with time but says did solve, even though it solved in 9 secs. any ideas why?
Qxd6 is a Mate in 17 in 8 seconds, but solution is mate in 12. not a good test position. if time was set at 1 min, my 6 core system would not solve this one. it did solve because I had time set to 2 min.
Qxc4 seems draw with high score.

Ba3, stalls with time but says did solve, even though it solved in 9 secs. any ideas why?

Ba3 is correct, I don't understand the point.

Qxd6 is a Mate in 17 in 8 seconds, but solution is mate in 12. not a good test position. if time was set at 1 min, my 6 core system would not solve this one. it did solve because I had time set to 2 min.

It always the same, if you give more time, the machine will more likely find the optimal move.

Qxc4 seems draw with high score....

We need a clear proof that Kf8 is better than Qxc4. For now, we only have a strong human analyze but is it enough ?

Please continue to analyze the file. Deep analyze is very valuable to improve the set !
