Can you give us one good reason why HoudiniConfig isn't supported any more? Can it be that most of this +50 ELO in H3 just comes from some published H2-setting (
or at least inspirations out of them)?

Most probably the case....
He's a talented programmer,no doubt about that,but.................
He's that kind of person that like to twist the reality mainframe to benefit from the current situation as much as he can.......
Do you even believe that he didn't know about the bug related to the x32 & x64 before the sales of Houdini 3 kicked off
People are not idiots regards,

It is clear that you hate him and I believe that most of the houdini improvement (that seems to be more than 50 elo based on most lists) is not based on changing houdini personality
The SCCT list gives 27.3 elo advantage for Houdini 2.0Kayra2 relative to houdini 2c but considering the number of houdini personalities that they test I believe that the real difference is smaller and with small differences the best personality is the best also because of some luck.

They have poor results for the weak programs relative to other lists
so I think that their 27.3 elo is worth less than 25 elo in other lists even if I ignore the fact that you can expect the best houdini personality to be lucky.
8 Houdini 2.0c Pro x64 6c : 3340.3 1058.0 1500 70.5%
38 Deep Shredder 12 x64 6c : 3035.0 594.5 2000 29.7%
39 Hiarcs 13.2 w32 6c : 3022.2 543.0 1900 28.6%
40 Zappa Mexico II x64 6c : 3005.2 459.0 1600 28.7%
Note that I do not see this huge more than 300 elo difference against shredder and hiarcs and 335 elo against zappa in other lists.
For example
CCRL 40/40 has
Houdini 2.0c 64-bit 4CPU 3251
Deep Shredder 12 64-bit OA On 4CPU 3058
Hiarcs 13.2 4CPU 3022
Zappa Mexico II 64-bit 4CPU 3009
CCRL 40/4 has
Houdini 2.0c 64-bit 4CPU 3285
Deep Shredder 12 64-bit OA On 4CPU 3049
Hiarcs 13.2 4CPU 3037
Zappa Mexico II 64-bit 4CPU 2970
CEGT 40/20 has
3 Houdini 2.0c x64 4CPU 3086
44 Deep Shredder 12 x64 4CPU 2870
52 Hiarcs 13.2 MP 4CPU 2851
57 Zappa Mexico II x64 4CPU 2825
