Houdini 3 64-bit 4CPU Gauntlets

Post by Graham Banks »

I'm running some Houdini 3 64-bit 4CPU games for the CCRL 40/4 list.

They can be followed live move by move in Playchess or in TLCV (GrahamCCRL.dyndns.org Port 16084).

I'm glad these results are not for 200 games. Because at any CPU usage, Ivanhoe 46h is 35 elo stronger than 9.46h- which would mean it scales better and is stronger than Houdini 3- which is not possible.

6 games means very little. Houdini 3 is a lot stronger than Ivanhoe 9.46h. I'm sure that this will show up with more games.

This is just a guess- but not really. Because on 4 or more cores I am convinced when you are thru the only one not left way behind will be Rybka.
Tho he too will lose.

I'd say that you'll probably be right George. :)
