On-line blitz tourney November

Due to my plans for the approaching holiday season, the blitz tourney will be early this month:

Saturday November 3, ?pm EST (21:00 CET)

Note that we are no longer on daylight-saving time here, so it could be that the tourney is one hour later than you are used to if DST still applies to you. For those not present last time: note that I have a new IP address, since I switched provider! So to connect you now need a different command:

winboard -zp -ics -icshost 83.163.204.254 -icshelper timeseal -fcp ENGINE.exe -fd ENGINEFOLDER -autoKibitz

(for UCI engines, add -fUCI)

I can not set OWN BOOK satisfactorily by WinBoard/Polyglot ...

The server times you out only after 10 hours of inactivity.

People that use Arena usually have problems. (Games not starting when they should, etc.) So its use is not recommended, unless you want to babysit it all the time.

Why can't you set 'own book' with WinBoard? Why do you have to set it in the first place? It is the default setting, right? At least the one in the Common Engine Options dialog that controls the use of GUI book. If the engine itself also has an option of that name, it should be in the Engine #1 Settings dialog. So what is the problem exactly?

I plan to participate with Portfish today, also did not get a response.
Last time the response was a couple of hours so even if it's automatic I think its schedule is not hourly

It is not automatic. The e-mail goes to me, and then I have to do it by hand.
