TBOC 5 : very long time cont tour with new komodo hiarcs

it might be better to wait until end of the tour to examine the back-white score. At the moment black has 2 more wins.....

by the way, it might be interesting that Junior and Hiarcs evals this position nearly equal, and the main line better for black so they try to avoid playing the main line, but with no good results for white....

I just checked Hiarcs 14 on the main line of the Marshall after 14...Qh3, but it shows +.21 after 24 plies, which is about the same as Komodo. I would like to see a top program evaluate this position closer to zero, but this doesn't appear to be the case here. What position do you show a plus score for Black in with Hiarcs?

Hi Larry,

i had another position in mind when i talked about Hiarcs would evaluate the position nearly equal....the position after the 8. move of black (d5)

i wanted to know how the engines evaluate the "main line" 9. exd5 Nxd5 10. Nxe5 Nxe5 11. Rxe5 and so on....

and Hiarcs and Junior evaluate close to 0.00....so junior sometimes try to avoid the line and plays other 10. moves for white....

by the way half of the tour is over and i started the 2. part of the tour with the 8. round....

At the moment the Game Stockfish 2.2.2 vs Critter 1.6a is running with live broadcast on Playchess.....

Hi,

i started a new tournament called "The Beasts of Chess 5" TBOC 5, all Engines play with 1 core if single like komodo or with 2 Cores if MP Engines. Time control is 40m in 180min followed by 40z in 120min followed by 5min+30s for the rest.
.....

Do the other engines play with 1 Core when playing against Komodo or not ?
And could you please upload or give a link to the games
