Yes, it is new (October, 19th), but 46ei is newer (November, 28th)... The test of Ivahoe 46ei will continue. After finishing it, I will give 50kQ a chance...

It is not older- well, the version is- but this compile is also new! Tell me if you have any problem with the link. My advice is try it soon.

Thanx George, but the work is done by the programmers of the engines, the compiling-experts and the testwork is done by my notebook. I am only a computerchess-freak...

In that case when you look in the mirror you might likely see me.
Seriously tho- right now I have 46ei running a match ag. Strelka 5.5 x64. Strelka 5.5 is my benchmark. Not enough games to be positive of anything- but I am looking for the ones that can at least play close with Strelka. I haven't seen anything in the past year that would make me think 46h can. He is about 40 elo back. But 50kQ and Norman's new exe of the Fire 2.2b GH x64 are both within less than 20 elo of Strelka. Within striking distance. Harrison's compile was strong- but there was a split depth problem that Norman fixed and sent to me a couple days ago for the Group 1 RR. I really didn't follow what he told me- but it certainly looks like more than a placebo effect. I am anxious to see if 46ei can play Strelka in the 20 elo range as well...... Will let yo know.
I told another guy he was wasting his time with what he thinks is a magic parameter change for Tornado 4.88. And I am tilting my own windmills- still looking for that magic Ippolit- (Ivanhoe, RobboLito or Fire "bullet")- where everything just falls in place and it can take down Houdini. I have convinced myself it is out there- maybe I am ignoring the truth- but I wonder if I will ever give up. Most likely when I die.
I have to crawl before I learn to walk- Houdini slaughters Strelka- so I gotta get past Strelka first.
Most Ippolit compilers think the secret lies in a speedup. I say bullshit- it's gotta lie where it always is: S & E.
