I'm testing on a Pentium dual T4200 without POPCNT.

Yes, protector-64 works from the command line, but not within Scid 4.3 as an analysis engine.

I got a 32 bit Linux compile working in Scid. This was on a 32 bit linux distro.

I haven't tried it on a 64 bit distro.

I do have exactly the same behaviour on my linux machine. portector just isn't working (64bit).
