Dmitri- Follow the Link- A Gift for You

The advice I gave you are very simple, nothing of merit.
Simple, but it worked! Thanks!!
By the way, one last tip, Intel compiler 13 makes a highly optimized code, with the profiles you will not advance anything.
Make a universal build and forget Kns get more, that's not going to give ELO program.
I believe that you're right, and with some help from the pros, I may be very near the point where any further games with compiler settings won't pay off. At that point, I will proceed to make, test, and release the requested non-Intel-specific, non-SSE4.2, non-popcnt, and x32 compiles, just as you had also advised.

A present for you: (Include in your downloads)

Thanks, George!! Will include in the future releases!

BTW, this Firenzina affair is getting more exciting than I expected. After 63 games out of 200 (3/3 blitz) using the KLO100 test suite, the newest SGVAD compile of Firenzina is at 56% (+12-5=46) against the released MT compile that you have. Considering that the MT compile tied a 500-game 1/1 blitz match with the original MD compile, and the MD compile somehow drew an admittedly short 20-game 40/40 match against the best Stockfish known to me (stockfish-222-sse42-ja-intel.exe compiled by Jim Ablett), the question becomes: With the help from the pros, did I just "outcompile" Stockfish? This remains to be seen. If it turns out that I did, I will ask Kranium's permission to put his name back in the primary author position before I release the SGVAD compile. (I am not asking yet. Too early now.)

Then more questions will emerge, though. 1. Can Stockfish be compiled back to #1 among free, open-source engines? 2. Can Gull II be compiled a tad better? Given that Jim Ablett produced compiles of both, the preliminary outlook is negative. But I don't really know for sure.

I mean, we all know that Houdini 3 is the strongest commercial engine and Houdini 1.5 is the strongest free engine. But the crown of the strongest free, open-source engine may be up for grabs. The difference between the TCEC ratings of Stockfish 210213 and Gull II is just 1 ELO point (3092 vs. 3091). And then this. :o

Between TCEC seasons, I wonder if Martin Thoresen might run an event for open-source engines only, so as to encourage future open-source development...

Norm, the keyword here being "fully", are you still considering the possibility that you mentioned earlier - that of contributing some of the earlier code for Fire 2.3, or did you change your mind on that? The latter would be perfectly understandable, given that RobboLito is your main project now, and I wish you success with it!

You might want to mention Dusan's Mosaic site as where the logo came from. Maybe it is a good idea just to mention the credit- then you know all will be ok.
