I thought that about Cupcake after the first few games but then it folded like a cheap tent in a tornado.

Ponder off
ChessOK2012-3.cgb book
40 moves in 25 minutes repeating (adapted for the CCRL)
4 cycles 52 rounds
All engines 64-bit where available
The top engine will gain automatic promotion. Any other changes of division will be at my discretion and may not necessarily involve playoff matches.

Thanks for running a great tournament, Graham. I am satisfied with MadChess' results in its "debut" tournament. MadChess...

Scored better than 50%.
Won a game against 11 of 13 opponents.
Had an equal or winning record against 7 of 13.

Clearly it can hang with engines in this division. I'll review the games later this week. Thanks again.

Thank you Graham,
for a great tournament!

Normally the Capivara will best in the tournaments with smaller time control, but in this 40/40 the Capivara had the amazing performance.

Thanks for testing the Capivara chess engine.
You are a great motivator for those programmers who have less time and resources.
