Hello !

Barbarosa loses two games because this behaviour (illegal move under Arena 3.0 GUI):

In rest, it is a superb chess engine. The best written in an exotic programming language.

Test no. 1- Vitruvius 1.11C w32.

Conditions:

TC = 4'+2"
Hash = 128 MB
Book = Shredder12.ctg
GUI = Fritz 11
Vitruvius 1.11C was linked to RobboTripleBases (egbbs).
Deep Rybka 4.1 was linked to Nalimov TBs.

Vitruvius 1.11C w32 = a nice engine with an active play.

Coming soon Bouquet 1.8 !

I let it calculate in that pawn endgame up to depth 17 and did not get any error. I guess it must be something from hash.

Which hash value do you use?

128 MB in this match.

Gladiator 0.0.1 (a WB engine) uses a fixed hash (2 MB).

Best to you !
