Yes, seems to be not bad: 7. Bb5 Nxe3 8. fxe3 Bd7 9. O-O e6jdart wrote:6. .. Ng4 is preferred in the latest Hiarcs book. The main line is probably 7. Bb5 Nxe3 8. fxe3 Bd7 9. O-O e6 which is fairly equal.
I am thinking about a new release soon. The next version will be 17.0 since I have made some fairly major code changes. There is some measurable improvement over version 16.3 in playing strength but nothing very dramatic. However, it will play differently from 16.3 overall. There is also a new and improved opening book.Btw, any news about Arasan next release ?
I need to will do some testing but can probably release something in the next week or so if there is interest.

Also here is another alternative line, which can be played too: 7. Bg5 h6
But however,
I don't think the above mentioned lines are very good for Whites
And if we will start testing the engines with the above mentioned positions, the winning percentage is expecting to be below than 50 % for Whites
For example,
It is very good idea to compare Tom Casanovas test results
http://www.talkchess.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=47512
Note: Tom is using Perfect 2012c (up to 5 moves)
And as we see the Whites's wining percentage 6.Be3 is below than 50 %

Also another alternative good comparing, a book based on CCRL 40/40 min. 3000 Elo:

About Arasan,
Definitely I have a lot of interest in new Arasan...
Note that in the next weeks (not sure exactly when) I plan to be abroad, but when I will be back my first job is to test new Arasan, probably in April,May...
Best,
