I have seen that old exe in the file, but in a kind of short circuit I instantly supposed it was an old engine version putted there just im case....

Texel 1.04 is about 70 elo stronger than Texel 1.03 on my linux computer at very fast time controls, using one core. Almost all changes are improvements in the evaluation function.

That's impressive. So Texel 1.04 should be on par with Hiarcs 14 now.

It is still a bit early to say, but according to the currently running IPON test this does indeed seem to be the case.
