SCCT (3m+2s) MP Rating - Ponder ON

Post by Sedat Canbaz »

Hello Chess Friends,

Here are the first played results!

Note that the current rating list is different than all available ratings!

The current SCCT MP leader: Stockfish ! Congratulations to Stockfish Team !

Note also we need more games (for better conclusions...and still K8 has chances to be as a leader! )
The standings will be more useful, when each player will have 1000 games per player!

Thank you Ajedrecista!

Btw, I noticed now this info..., so maybe I will wait a little bit for Tornado 6
And if T6 will be not released in 1-2 months, then I will test T5

Tornado version 6

This will be next release version.

Just I'd like to inform you,
Sad that I am going to replace Arasan 17.3 with other mp participant

Due to Arasan has loading and uploading problems under Fritz 12 GUI

It takes minus plus 10 seconds....

Thank you for your attention

Last Updates:
Chiron 2 MP
Rybka 4.1 MP

SCCT MP Rating List - For Current Standings:
http://www.sedatcanbaz.com/chess/?page_id=822

Komodo is coming!...now just 5 Elo difference between K8 vs SF !)

Continuing....

Note that,
Arasan 17.3 has no any loading/uploading problem issues on my i7 980X machine
This bug is appeared on my i7 970 machine....
Strange indeed...it seems there is something wrong...not sure why indeed ?!

Note also,
Hiarcs 14 too has similar loading/uploading problems, even under both machines
But H14 takes 3-4 seconds...but Arasan takes 10 sec...I think it is a lot
It makes me very sad...especially when I see such bugs from commercial programs

I wonder too...
Why the rest top chess engines have no such loading problem issues under Fritz GUI ??
They are loading/uploading in less than 1 second....

Btw,
I think a professional chess engine should work (without any problems) in all Chess GUIs!
I know too there is no a perfect program...

But as a tester,
I don't request 3500 Elo playing program, simply X engine to work properly...
Of course I will be very glad too...in case of new releases to see single processor engines as MP !

We are in 2014...it's time for revolution )!

Hannibal 1.4b MP
Texel 1.04 MP

SCCT MP Rating List - For Current Standings:
http://www.sedatcanbaz.com/chess/?page_id=822

Note: Chiron (as before) again is leader, but on time forfeits )!
So far...the current SCCT's database includes only 5 games lost on time (based on 2300 games)
And sad that some commercial programs are more buggy than free ones !!

Hello Friends!

Last Updates:
Protector 1.6.0
Hiarcs 14 WCSC

More Details:
-Since 1-3 days, I set 4-men endgame tablebases (Nalimov, Syzygy, Gaviota, Shredderbases, Scorpio)
*Just because to make shorter the length of the moves, due to some positions take a lot of time and moves
-Stockfish 040914 is replaced to newer version: Stockfish 170914 by Ronald De Man

SCCT (3m+2s) MP Rating - Current Standings:
http://www.sedatcanbaz.com/chess/?page_id=822

Btw, finely I managed to create the complete participant table!)
And many of the new logos belong to me (Stockfish, Komodo, Gull, Rybka, Hannibal, etc...)
Note also that all new logos are included in the 'Games' folder, have fun )!

Hello There!

Last Updates:
Junior 13.3 MP
Senpai 1.0 MP
Shredder 12 MP
Spark 1.0 MP
Spike 1.4 MP
Zappa Mexico II MP

Note that Stockfish still leads from the beginning till now...!!
2nd is Komodo, but just 3 Elo behind!
And in the next rounds everything can happen...still there is a possibility to see Komodo as a new SCCT leader!
Houdini is rated as 3rd place...also very close to above both participants!

Note also that the error Elo bar margins did not change much too!
As we see...it's going mainly minus plus 3-5 Elo per engine!
Those numbers show us the stability of the test !!
In other words,
The openings play a big role too about why there is no much error Elo bar margins!!
And since 2-3 days,
All participants are started to use my latest new Perfect 2015 book!

Btw, Spike's performance is below than expected (approx. -50 Elo)
Probably Spike chess engine suffers when Ponder ON is enabled!
For example,
Spike was rated above Junior and Shredder at SCCT (3m+2s Ponder Off) MP Rating
