Aren't both Sugar and Heron Impossible illegal anyway because they don't comply with the GPL?

Do the authors of DON and Sugar acknowledge what their engine is based on and give some credit to those authors?
I've not looked.

So far I have only seen dozens of messages where people claim there is no source for Sugar and the 'author' (BTW a known cloner probably the same as for 'Amitis'?) promised a source and weeks later there still was no source.
Can you provide a link to a source which really compiles to something like 'Sugar'?
At least it is clear that the first releases were more or less renamed Stockfish versions perhaps with little changed values and there was NO source.

Guenther..you find it everywhere..but i can't put link here..but everybody know it!

Everybody has to learn first..so these guys start maybe not the right way..but after a talk with them..have understand GPL and they put the source as included with the .exe files.. so no problem anymore.

This is much better then attack them directly..it's No use!

Only Heron don't understand it..i tried to talk with him..maybe too young to accept these rules..let him learn..

Finally I found sources for Sugar 2.0b I still believe there were none before this version.
Anyway it is a tragedy so far I found only a few renamed cpp/h files and a few split or renamed functions + comments, practically all is identical.

It is so boring and disappointing to compare their sources that I leave it now.

I wouldn't be surprised by over 90% simtest results...

Thank you very much for the program Matthias. I had a few more questions about this program. But perhaps you're a busy man and not very'll have time to answer.
