Hello to everybody,

Igwobt is an international competition between opening books relayed on gsei site (International Gsei Web Opening Book Tournament).
The tournament will be composed of only 2 round robin.
Time control is 15 min + 10 sec.
Chess engine is Stockfish 5
Start date 5 december at 21:00 (Italy UTC)

All those who are interested to participate in the II edition are encouraged to send me an email.

Only 12 participants, and two places have already been allocated:
1) RpC-Needle (winner of the first edition)
2) None selected book (Stockfish without opening book)

I like this competition! Even if I'm a co-founder of gsei group, I'd never look at the programs playing one against each other but this is an exception, for me. I've learned a lot, just watching this games, because the engine is always the same but the book change, so the most of the games comes to final... and this is the most interesting part of the game, IMHO.
