I wouldn't discount his skills. He may not be a good chess programmer YET. But he has rolled his own operating system, compiler, programming language, etc. The guy is extremely talented.

He is up there, he wrote a C like programming language called HolyC.

If he were not suffering from mental illness I am sure he would probably be a well known computer engineer at a prestigious university.
