I have a Jerger tilt back clock that has worked for the last 28 years. Now, the minute hand fell off one of the clocks.
I tried getting in from the rear and was making progress: I have the backend open and the rocker bar is off, but still can't see how to get to the minute hand between the face and the glass.
A google and youtube search didn't reveal any advice. Who knows how to get at the part or can point me to the info?

OK, there are two small bendable flaps. Take out the two screws and bend the flaps to you. Now, push the apparatus through the front of the wood housing.
At this point, I found 3 flat head screws on the side of the apparatus. Looks like that is how I get into the face plat.

Ok, it is back on and working. There are 3 screws that mount the gear apparatus to a brass ring. The brass ring has two flaps for attachment to the wood housing. There are 6 combinations and only one is correct: you'd think 2 but seems not. I got it right on the second try.
There we go. I have given what should be enough documentation to future me when I have this problem again.
